Our Journey into Successful Ice Skating Camps

In March 2020, COVID brought the ice skating world to a near standstill. However, once restrictions were eased, we were approached to deliver camps initially in Grimsby, Billingham, and Inverness. During this time, Kathryn also began working with a pairs team and creating choreography, which made us realise that we could do what we love while also collaborating with some of the very best coaches and people in the sport.

Since then, our camps have gone from strength to strength. We have worked closely with skating clubs, British Ice Skating, and ice rinks across the UK to deliver one-day, two-day, three-day, and five-day camps for both adults and children.

We can organise and deliver camps in partnership with a rink’s existing coaching team, or provide a dedicated team of Level 3 and Level 4 coaches to facilitate both on-ice and off-ice training sessions.

Camps

Inverness Camps | 2021–2026

In 2020, we were approached by Inverness Ice Centre to help generate business during the quieter summer months following COVID, while also increasing the visibility of the facility.

Now entering our sixth year, the camps have grown significantly from 70 skaters attending in the first year (2021) to 170 skaters participating in the July and August 2026 camps to date.

The Adult Camp has expanded so successfully that an additional week has been added, while the Figure Camp has also developed to include an intensive Skate UK programme.

Over the past six years, our Inverness Camps have attracted skaters from across the UK, as well as internationally from Canada, the USA, France, Italy, Spain, Singapore, Switzerland, and Slovenia.

We have also successfully delivered camps across the UK, working in partnership with local clubs, coaches, and British Ice Skating:

Aberdeen – 2025, working alongside Aberdeen coaches, with a return camp already booked for October 2026.
Chelmsford – 2026, delivered for Chelmsford Figure Skating Club.
Bradford – 2024, delivered for Bradford Figure Skating Club.
Billingham – 2023, 2024, and 2025, delivered for Billingham Figure Skating Club.
Grimsby – 2021–2026, working in collaboration with Grimsby coaches.
Sheffield – 2021–2025, delivered for Sheffield Figure Skating Club as well as British Ice Skating.
Slough – Adult and Junior Camps in 2025 and 2026, delivered in partnership with British Ice Skating and Slough coaches.
